This means visitors will no longer need to quarantine on their return home.

Fuerteventura is extremely popular for winter holidaymakers, with fabulous weather in November, December and beyond. For the time being at least, visitors to the Canaries will simply have to fill in passenger locator forms and will face no restrictions on entry.

Many flight companies will now resume their services to the Canaries with the first flights departing to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote this weekend.
